Wisdom for the Day

12/17/2017

We usually make our plans and then ask, “What would Jesus do?”.  What we need to do is ask, “What is Jesus doing?” and then make that our plans.  And that is a whole different way of living.

A worse trial than poverty is prosperity.

When sharing the Gospel, do we extol what Jesus will do for them, more than leading them to Jesus Himself and what He has already done for them?  Which is more important, what He will do for them or what He will do in them?

Forgiveness is setting the prisoner free and finding the prisoner was you.

Jesus was able to get to the disciples in the boat by walking on the very thing that made them fearful.  I it possible He does the same thing today?
