Wisdom for the Day

04/22/2018

Feeding a forgotten, lost, homeless person only requires compassion.  Feeding a forgotten, lost, homeless person who you know in rebellion has stolen from you takes a huge amount of mercy and grace.  How great must be the mercy and grace of God.

God speaks plenty loud enough; you just have to be quiet enough to hear Him.

Gotta have your CDs playing all the time?  Fine.  Record a CD of nothing and use that for your quiet time.

To God, “deserving mercy” is an oxymoron.

You can beg for mercy, but you can never demand it and be successful.

One danger in an affluent society is for Christians to trust in the gifts instead of the Giver.

Google is not God.  So why is it the first place you go to solve your problems?
