Wisdom for the Day

03/14/2018

When a husband and wife fight, it’s not the one who is right or has the best logic that wins, but it’s usually the one who is the meanest.

When looking at the suffering that often afflicts Christians, we confuse earthly temporary “good” (being comfortable) with the ultimate good, that of becoming molded and shaped into the image of Christ.  Rarely are they the same.

There is a graveyard that follows every compromise.

The hardest prayer is, “Thy will be done.”

Finding out who you are starts with admitting who you aren’t.

One major problem in life we have is that we remember what we should forget, and forget what we should remember.

Saying, “Jesus is Lord” is a cry of defiance against the gods of this world.

What God wants to do in you is far greater that what He wants to do through you.
